Patch 0.65 is up! With the next already in review.

It took 9 days to go though Microsoft certification due to Christmas but it has made it up now!

It should be in most regions already and if not it will be in the next few hours.

Now we actually finished the next patch this morning which was already bigger than it was going to be but we fit a few extra things in it before it went of to certification an hour ago. The next patch brings the game up to version 1.1 to better represent the stability of the game in compared to our original release.

Many of the changes to 1.1 are under the hood, including a new save system (we wrote a converter so you wont lose your levels, it will auto convert an old save when you next load your game). It also uses about 60% less memory which means no more out of memory crashes! Also we fixed many memory leaks and improved performance by 15% on average.

I have been working quite hard on some of the changes in this version (working through Christmas actually…) I hope that you enjoy the version when it makes it up.
The update should take 3-6 days to go though Microsoft’s certification, then I hope you all enjoy it!

  • Improved: Saves system now uses validation system, to preserve save data not just between successive updates, but for users who skipped an update or two

Note this is partial list, many things never made it onto this list or were too small to bother adding.

    Wow! I love you guys’ dedication. A save converter on a mobile platform game?! 60% less memory usage?! Working through Christmas?! I just hope people realize the hard work you guys put into this and that this game sells well when it hits the PC and Xbox 360, and pays you guys back for your effort. ;)
