CraftWorld v2.10 is now Availible!
Good news everyone!
This is gearing up to be another very busy week. A fresh load of reports, ideas and issues is coming in from gamers which is not only helpful, but crucial to CraftWorld meeting the needs of current players, and exceeding the expectations of new gamers!
As you no doubt have read in previous blog entries, you guys get gates, fences and water in this new update. There has also been an overhaul of the inner block engine that powers complex objects such as torches, water and stairs. This change has caused some objects such as Torches to become rotated incorrectly as pointed out by user BokChoy on the forums. The v2.11 update will be submitted within the next week, to add permutations to the stairs, fences and gates, as well as to address this issue, and any others if they are reported in time.
Hows BlockWorld going?
Very very well, the multiplayer update has been well received. We’ve spent hours visiting worlds, and talking with players about what they want next. The general consensus is that creatures, guns and MOAR BLOX are desired. The changes in the v1.2 update to BlockWorld are also spilling over into CraftWorld. You creative mode guys can enjoy an entire new inventory window of goodies, including new blocks, new dyes, and access to the new permutations to things such as stairs and fences.
What about some survival features?
Many of you will remember items promised such as the Dyes Bench for creating thousands of colours of dye, RPG system, lava and steel buckets as well as the much wanted day and night cycles on the phone. Those are coming soon, so post which ones you’d like to see first!
We are also working on something absolutely MASSIVE, that we cannot yet reveal. It’s something we’ve wanted ever since we first drew up the design for CraftWorld, so please stay tuned to our blog for news on this incredible development.
Thanks heaps for reading!
